Equipment and Technology RCPS utilizes the latest in modern technology and gear. Our members learn about each piece of technology through research, logic, and training. We carefully select and test our equipment by putting it through a battery of rigorous testing Below is a small example of the type of equipment we use to investigate paranormal activity: |

DVR Systems | Infrared Camera Systems |
This technology is set up in the locations we investigate and cameras are attached
to light weight tri-pod stands. We never tape down our cameras to furniture or
walls. These cameras can see in total darkness and do so with ample clarity.
We review the footage later for unexpected anomalies |

Photography and Video A vast selection of different types of photography devices are used. From standard digital to full spectrum, deep infrared, and HD technologies from ModiTronic. We also incorporate video technologies from Sony including Nightshot. |

Digital Audio Line to Microphones |
World class industry standard audio recording is employed during the investigation
in attempt of capturing high end Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP). We can also
capture disembodied sounds and voices that can be played back during evidence
review for analization to determine what might be creating these sounds naturally.
We may also be able to determine exatcly by pinpoint accuracy, where in the
location, that sounds are coming from. |

Other types of handheld voice recorders are used by RCPS for question and answer
EVP sessions where paranormal activity has been reported. Different types of recorders
are used by various members of the team. |

Electro Magnetic Field (EMF) |
Team members use a variety of EMF meters to detect stray voltages. Many times, high
amounts of unsafe fields will be present in locations resulting in undesirable
effects to those present. There is also a theory which claims that ghosts will
cause these types of meters to fluctuate. |

Experimental Equipment |
Negative Ion Generators There is discussions in paranormal research of hauntings, that negative ions may increase the chances of paranormal activity. Some documentation states that before and during a thunderstorm, ions in the local atmosphere elevate, which might allow for the witnessing of manifistated paranormal activity. |

Flashlight Communication Although we use flashlights for navigating ourselves in the dark. another use as of late is taking the paranormal community by storm. We have been asking questions and having some very interesting responses from the non manipulated flashlights in the form of responses. This has not proven the actual existence of ghosts or spirits. View our video of this experiment in progress. |

Paranormal Evidence Upon request, we do keep locations confidential. We do however, present any evidence captured to the public. Here are a few examples of what we consider "paranormal activity". • May 28, 2006 - Wisconsin Rapids - Bar and Grill A canned blacklight used for illuminating our video cameras is physically manipulated while simultaneously taking a photograph with a digital camera. The blacklight was clamped into place and was inspected before the investigation began. Video evidence is highly rare. |
