Interested in joining RCPS as a Team Member? Carefully read and understand the following before downloading your application. This is to insure that we can quickly process each submission without issues. Application submissions may take from as little as a few weeks to several months before we contact you for an interview. This is because of the large amount of applications we receive. You may feel free to contact us to question if we have received your application. If we have, please do not re-submit an application. - 25 years of age. - Must live within 60 miles maximum of our headquarters. - Applicants will need to be committed and dedicated to the field of paranormal research. (It's NOT as seen on TV) - Applicants will be submitted to a rigorous and extensive interview process. This includes a background check. Simply filling out an application will not guarantee you membership in RCPS. - RCPS is NOT the Psychic Friends Network. We are a 100% scientific/technology practicing group. We are not looking to add psychic applicants. We are looking for solid substantial evidence and not something based from clairvoyance. No table tipping, Ouija boards, marble throwing, or dwarf spirit guides named "Sam" found here. - All applicants accepted after interview process, will be in probationary status for a total of 12 months/10 investigations. Even after 12 months if the applicant does not have the 10 investigations accumulated, they will continue the probationary status until 10 investigations are completed under the supervision of RCPS. Applicants can be dismissed at anytime during the probationary period. Also, a field test and written exam will be administered to all Investigators in Training (IIT). A passing grade along with a detailed review by senior staff shall be completed before IIT status can be lifted. - Those accepted into RCPS must purchase some basic equipment needed for themselves. This equipment and uniform is mandatory. A personal financial commitment to the needs of your uniform and equipment is vital. The equipment each new member purchases (Unless donated to the team), is the exclusive property of that member. The cost for basic equipment is a minimum of $100.00 (emf meter, watch, flashlight, etc..) Uniform cost is roughly $25.00 (unless you do not own a pair of clean-cut jeans or trail boots. You will need them as well.) Every RCPS member is to be professionally minded in their appearance at all times on sanctioned events. - IIT members will receive full training and instructed on RCPS protocols. Joining RCPS is a big commitment and all members are required to be active participants within RCPS. - Illegal forms of investigations are forbidden. RCPS does not investigate locations without express written consent from the land/home owner. Each RCPS member (IIT & Full), will have a identification card to verify their membership status. This verification process can be used to check on this website only, the current status of a RCPS member. If someone presents a membership card and is not visible on our members section, they are not representing RCPS and can be considered a fraud. RCPS uses these identification cards to verify to clients and law enforcement in conjunction with the proper paperwork, that we are who we say we are. Each legitimate member has their identification card on them at all times during sanctioned events. This is for yours and our safety. - Those caught investigating illegally, will be terminated instantly. You will also be blacklisted permanently. Our family organization TAPS, will also be notified of your illegal activities. (TAPS is "The Atlantic Paranormal Society" as seen on the Sci-Fi Channel. TAPS is one of the most respected organizations in the field of paranormal research with 1000s of active family members worldwide.) RCPS does not tolerate illegal methods or alleged evidence captured by trespassing. These conditions may be changed at any time.
