Thank You for your interest in becoming an official team member of River Cities Paranormal Society! RCPS is a HIGHLY active team utilizing a scientific/technology methods. Some of the tools we use for investigating the claims of a haunting or paranormal activity include:      • EMF (Electromagnetic Field) Detection - A physical field generated and produced by electrically charged objects. These fields can change the behavior of charged objects located in the vicinity of the field. We do not consider the EMF meter a "ghost detector", but as a tool to discover solutions of naturally occurring situations within our investigation areas.      • Video / Photography - Most of the video and photography we film is done at night. Using infrared (IR) technology, we can expect less chances for false positives. We utilize several types of cameras including full spectrum, digital, deep infrared, and high definition. Through our years of research, much of what is captured using photographic and video methods, can be debunked and disproved as "paranormal". We do not present orbs as evidence to our clients as this phenomenon can be easily reproduced in all environments.      • EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena / Phenomenon) - Using sound recording equipment, we can record audio during an investigation. At a later time during evidence review, if we play the audio back and was not heard physically during the time of investigation, it might be a disembodied voices or sounds only captured via the recording equipment. (meters, camera, flashlight, etc..)      • Do you own a vehicle and are able to drive it safely throughout Wisconsin? What we are not seeking:      • Mediums / Sensitives / Intuitives / Psychics / Clairvoyants - We do not approach our clients or cases with these types of methods.      • Thrill Seekers - RCPS does not practice illegal investigative practices such as cemeteries or abandon buildings. All of our paranormal investigations are legal and in writing from the property owners and done so with respect to the buildings, land, and possessions of the clients.      • Rituals / Cleansings / Exorcisms - Our research is limited to and not including religious practices such as these. We are all rich in religious diversity and concepts. However, RCPS is not the place to promote your religious beliefs. One of our policies is to leave religion at the door.
